Squeaky gets a love jingle

About a month ago the Squeaky marketing department found out about Love Harnell and his blog,  LoveJingles. For each day of the year he will will cover, write and perform jingles for paying brands and individuals, and then use social media and his blog to spread the videos on the internet. He charges one-dollar-per-calendar-day-of-the-year surcharge. Day 1 is $1, day 2 is $2, and so on.

Above is our “jingle” that was released today. It’s a cover of the Squeaky rap that was originally produced for us a couple of years ago by a stranger that we found on the streets of New York. Let us know what you think.

Upcoming design changes to Facebook pages

We just got word that as part of a larger effort to improve user experience and promote consistency across the site, Facebook will be modifying Page and Profile layouts by simplifying how identity is managed and displayed.

Changes to the layout will include the following:

•  All tab widths are changing from 760 to 520 pixels

•  Boxes will no longer appear on Pages or Profiles. This means that Pages will no longer include the Boxes tab, or the boxes that currently exist on the left-hand column of your Wall and Info tab, underneath your Page’s profile picture. You can move the content that currently exists in Boxes to a custom tab.

•  Pages will no longer be able to implement iFrames on their Page. Custom/application tabs will be the exclusive integration point for applications on Facebook Pages and Profiles. All custom content will need to be in FBML on a seperate, custom tab.

Bernie Madoff’s Bank Statements

There are two things we know for sure about Bernie Madoff: He ran one of the most notorious ponzi schemes of all time and he enjoyed well deserved meals  paid for by his investors. Thanks to the digital age we are able to simply Google  ‘Bernie Madoff’s Bank Statements’ to find a nice laundry list of activities and spending Bernie likes to partake in.

Lesson #1: Remember, on the internet NOTHING  is private.
