There are articles published everyday highlighting the importance of exercise and staying active in order to maintain a healthy lifestyle but one that we read recently really made us rethink how we live our lives. In an article published by Men’s Health, it was found that those who spend the majority of their day sitting down are 54% more likely to die from a heart attack. According to the report, sitting for the majority of the day is an independent factor. In other words, it doesn’t matter if you exercise daily or not at all, smoke or don’t smoke. Basically if you sit for most of the day your odds are the same as everyone else. So we decided to risk our health for the sake of our readers and sit down at a computer to comb through the web in order to find ways to keep active and healthy at work.
