As you probably already know, Squeaky Wheel Media is a boutique size digital agency based in NYC. And, if you’ve ever talked to anyone employed here you would also know that our work space helps fuel our creative efforts and allows us to develop innovative and engaging work for our clients.

So when AdBuzz reached out to Squeaky asking us to produce a video profile showcasing our work space and culture we were psyched and went straight to work.

A New Page in Facebook Marketing

Well, Zuck’s at it again! As you may already know, Facebook has rolled out their new ‘Pages’ which is similar to the new profile look implemented not long ago. If you haven’t seen it yet check out ours.

The question is:  As marketers, what can we do to utilize these new features to their full potential? We’ve seen some creative uses of the new profile on sites like Mashable, but we’re excited to see what sort of tactics businesses will implement to show off their brands. We can predict that we will see not only an aesthetically pleasing array of picture layouts—as we did with the profile pages—but also new forms of outreach and communication.

By giving page administrators the ability to interact with other parts of Facebook as their page, they are giving marketers a valuable outreach tool to engage potential fans and consumers. On top of that, you can also edit your page settings so that you receive notifications about fan activity and keep up with them like never before.

The digital world is always changing and in order to stay on top of our game we must embrace the change and utilize it to the best of our abilities.  Cheers, and happy marketing!

We’ve scoured the web in search of free stuff—that isn’t completely lame—and amongst our findings was a huge collection (1,000+) of icons that can be used for everything from developing mobile apps to freshening up a new web project. This collection by Yummygum, dubbed: IconSweets 2 comes ready-to-use in a vector-shaped Photoshop format.

11th Annual Digital Music Forum

This year, the Digital Music Forum will be celebrating it’s 11th Anniversary by bringing in the big guns from Sony BMG, Getty Images, Roadrunner Records and many more to discuss and debate the future of music while making valuable network connections. The event will be hosted at the Museum of Jewish Heritage on February 24th, 2011 at 8am. You can currently get discount tickets for $299 up until January 5th.
