Imagine Facebook as a Dating Site?

Since the dawn of Hot or Not we have always been a society who likes to peer in the digital window of strangers and judge based on appearance, which is kinda creepy. For better or worse this has only escalated with dating sites like OKCupid, Match, Plenty of Fish, etc. We all know someone who have used similar dating sites to find love and/or lust, many times often ashamed to admit how they meet this random new significant other. So this got us to thinking…why doesn’t Facebook have their own dating application? With more than 400 million people they could dominate! The only developer we know really making a push for dating through existing social networks is Zoosk and Facebook could crush them. Just think about the value in friends giving the approval nod to other friends  – it potentially would convert us all into matchmakers. Who knows maybe a dating application is in the works for Facebook and maybe internally right now they are just focused on taking down Google.
