AdBuzz features the Squeaky Loft

As you probably already know, Squeaky Wheel Media is a boutique size digital agency based in NYC. And, if you’ve ever talked to anyone employed here you would also know that our work space helps fuel our creative efforts and allows us to develop innovative and engaging work for our clients.

So when AdBuzz reached out to Squeaky asking us to produce a video profile showcasing our work space and culture we were psyched and went straight to work.

Check out the video below and let our founder and president, Anthony Del Monte take you on a tour around the Squeaky loft.

At the Squeaky Loft: I Had Cancer

Squeaky’s next upcoming project, I Had Cancer (IHC) is an effort to connect those who have been affected by this deadly disease (whether they are Survivors, Fighters or Supporters). I Had Cancer is a digital community where stories are told and those who have experienced cancer first-hand can connect with those newly diagnosed by sharing their experiences with the community.

AdAge Small Agency Diary: Anthony Del Monte

As a small agency, we have no choice but to approach every project like it’s our most important one. We must do our homework and research before we even think about sitting down with a potential client for a pitch.

If we work so hard to get to know a client before we actually engage them, shouldn’t they put forth a similar if not greater effort to learn more about our company?

If you didn’t already know, our founder, Anthony Del Monte is a regular contributor to AdAge’s Small Agency Diary. He’s written about everything from incubating talent and taking pride in your work to how to deal with losing employees.

Check out his latest post on how one company really did their homework.

Squeaky Loves the Kids!

Roberto Clemente Little League

Spring is quickly approaching (pretend you haven’t noticed the snow) and that means baseball season is upon us. Here at Squeaky we love sports but most of all we know how important participating in team sports can be to a kid growing up these days.

For the past eight years, Squeaky has sponsored the Angels/Yankees from the Roberto Clemente Little League in Jersey City. Sports like baseball teach kids teamwork and build confidence and here at Squeaky we enjoy being able to help them achieve those things. On top of that, team sports also create great energy for kids, for us grown-ups, and the local community as a whole.

We’ve also been fortunate enough to sponsor wells in other countries through partnership with charity: water to provide clean drinking water for those who do not have access to such luxuries that we often take for granted here in the states.

Whether its providing drinking water or sponsoring a team, we believe it’s important to help those in need and twice as important to pass these values down to our children. Squeaky loves the kids…and baseball! We invite you to come watch a little league game. It will reaffirm your trust in our future and get you away from the t.v. for a couple of hours. :)

The Ninth Anniversary of Squeaky Wheel Media

squeaky-original3

The original three amigos. The shy guy in the pic is our original partner, the most talented, Ed Mullen.

November 15th is “Squeaky is daBomb day”.  It’s our official 9th Anniversary of Squeaky Wheel Media or rather the day we all got canned from our previous employer.

When we hung up our shingle in 2001 we decided that November 15th would always commemorate getting kicked to the curb as our previous employer went under and that we would write into our charter that we wouldn’t work. Well so much for that. We are too busy today to not work However, we aren’t too busy to reflect on how significant a leap of faith it was or on how far we have come. There have been peaks and valleys but as with all great anniversaries there have been far more peeks. So cheers to our family, friends and clients for all the support and for helping us make a vision a reality.  Thank you, we kiss you.

Nine years ago there were only three of us and today there are 26. Its far easier to get 3 people drunk- but 26 makes it a bigger party. Cheers.
