2010 came, saw and almost conquered. With only a handful of days left before the new year, Twitter and Facebook have released information on the top trends of 2010, analyzing 25 billion tweets to gain insight on 2010′s most popular topics while Facebook analyzed statuses from 236 countries. Some of the trending topics were to be expected, while others like the Vuvuzela left us a tad confused. We personally thought #fourloko and Boo The Dog would have the most mentions.

Vote now for the most beautiful people and teams in the World Cup. Not sure if the number of good looking gents is going to affect the score of the World Cup, but Spain wins in the attractive scale with an average team score of 5.85 versus Germany’s 5.29. If you were curious the USA has a solid 5.25 average. That’s a nice consolation prize. Go America!
